Our Story
Freshnow was born in 2017 as a performance agency with one goal: to sell tens of thousands of tickets for our music festival clients.
We realised early the way you drive results at that scale goes beyond the size of your budget and how carefully you optimise your landing pages.
Impact at that scale is about community. It's about tapping into a sense of belonging. It's about culture. Pop culture. Youth culture. So we built our business on this premise.
In advertising, at the top of the pyramid, all agencies have the same technical skills... but we do not equally know how to move 'a people'.

Motheo has 20 years experience in the advertising and communications space.
A childhood interest in rap music, gaming, tech, and business formed the basis for a career that's seen him oversee 40,000+ ticket sales per tour for one of South Africa's biggest musical exports, serve as the lead digital strategist during Prime Video's launch into the African market, and work closely with Spotify's growth team in SSA to convert free users onto their paid tiers.
Conversion rates matter, sure. Great art is important, of course. But the question he and the team always ask is 'how does it make people feel'? What does it mean for the culture.
Keorapetse oversees operations, business development, and client relations. His team oversees the execution of all influencer campaigns, stakeholder management, and business operations. He has a wealth of experience in food, entertainment, NGO, FMCG and the beauty space.
He helps our clients make sense of the commercial opportunity and viability of all campaign ideas, and digs deep into rolodex to link our colleagues across industries and vertical to achieve more together.
